Νіаgаrа 1953 Hathaway

arilyn Monroe has never been shown to better advantage than in this film-- her song "Kiss" is spellbinding. She plays the wife of a WWII veteran suffering from what we'd call Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder nowadays, and her cure for what ails him is the stuff of film noir at its purest. The characters, the plot, the score and above all the setting, combine under Henry Hathaway's direction, to make an unforgettable film. For me it's one of those movies I watch every couple years, and one of a handful of Marilyn Monroe movies that keep her alive for all time.
